Food - Past

The earliest example of food becoming a prominent subject in media are cave paintings, such as those in the Lacaux caves. The paintings show our cave-dwelling ancestors hunting deer, antelope and bison for food. They have helped people in the modern day to understand what people of their time ate and how they lived.
